Two countries. One committed community.
Suubi grew from a personal connection with Uganda and the belief that small, focused investments can have a lifelong impact.

Where it began
“My country of birth always remained close.”
Christine was born in Uganda and moved to the Netherlands in 2011. Her wish to strengthen vulnerable people both socially and economically travelled with her.
Together with Henk, she organised trips where volunteers supported practical projects. Their strongest knowledge and connections were in Uganda. Stichting Suubi was born from this foundation.
Today, Christine forms the personal bridge to Nkokonjeru. Local partners know the families and run the projects; the Dutch board provides continuity and transparency.
