Mother project
An income that reaches further.
With start-up capital, training and practical guidance, single mothers build businesses that suit them and their communities.
The starting point
Not remaining dependent, but being able to shape your own future.
A small business can strengthen a community.
Many women in the project have little or no land on which to grow food for their families. Temporary work does not provide enough income to live independently.
Suubi supports viable businesses with financial assistance and skills development. Part of the proceeds is often shared in kind, allowing new initiatives in the community to grow as well.
Their own words, their own path
Meet the mothers.
Follow their businesses from the first plan to the next step.
